About me
I started cutting on homemade lathes as a teenager. In the early 1990s, I worked for Neumann Head Service in Berlin, and in 1993, I founded Vinylium Switzerland. Soon after, equipped with a Tolex 1201 and a VMS 70, Switzerland regained some vinyl production capabilities. Later, together with some friends, I purchased the complete PolyGram pressing plant in Austria and relocated it to Switzerland.
In collaboration with JVO Studer, we created many de facto standards in today’s cutting rooms, including the Pitch 98 controller, SC99 head, Ultracut amplifiers, and Kingston dubplate cutters. Countless cutting rooms around the world became satisfied customers of our innovations.
Since 2011, I have been running FLoKaSon, a premier audio service that provides unique and professional support for cutting rooms. Almost all professional studios in Europe and many worldwide rely on our comprehensive services. We maintain an incredible stock of essential Neumann spare parts, as well as all the important components of contemporary cutting room technology—amplifiers, cutting heads, and everything you need.
I’d be happy to share more about the FLoKaSon cutting room spa service.
