Caren Kelleher is the founder and CEO of Gold Rush Vinyl, the record pressing plant of Austin, Texas, named one of the "Most Innovative Companies of 2020" by Fast Company. She saw the opportunity to start Gold Rush while working as a band manager and learned how difficult it was for independent artists to produce their own vinyl.
Prior to launching Gold Rush in 2018, Caren was Head of Music App Partnerships for Google, where she managed the company’s relationships with mobile developers like Spotify, Pandora and iHeartMedia. She was originally recruited to Google to launch Google Music and Google Play, after leading marketing and business development at Paste and Songkick.
Caren holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA from Emory University. In her spare time, she mentors young businesswomen and enjoys guest lecturing at colleges and universities. Caren is proud to serve on the board of The Recording Academy's Texas chapter and the LemonAid Project, a non-profit that uses lemonade stand entrepreneurship as a path for "kids helping kids."
