About me
He began his professional career in 1987 as an advisor to the Prime Minister in the Consultative Economic Council. From then until today, he has been actively involved in developing the modern music industry in Poland and worldwide.
From 1990 to 1995, he co-founded and managed the music company "Pomaton”. Following this, from 1995 to 2013, he held the position of Chairman and Managing Director at EMI Music Poland. Additionally, from 2008 to 2013, he served as the CEO of EMI Music Eastern Europe.
During the acquisition of part of EMI Music by Warner Music Group, from 2013 to 2019, he acted as the Chairman and Managing Director of Warner Music Poland and as the CEO of Warner Music Eastern Europe.
From 2019 to 2021, he co-founded and served as the CEO of the startup Closer Music.
In 2022, he provided advisory services to the French music/video digital distributor - Believe in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
In November 2023, he assumed the role of ceo at takt - one of the best in the world producers of vinyl and CD/DVD & polygraphy
In 1991, he co-founded and served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Association of Audio Video Producers (ZPAV) until 2019. He successfully advocated for copyright laws in the Polish Parliament and the European Parliament on multiple occasions.
From 2019 to 2022, he was a member of the Board of the Music Export Poland Foundation.
Currently, he is responsible for creating and leading Postgraduate Studies at the Economic-Humanistic Academy titled 'Unique Knowledge about the Music Industry.'
He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences, and Stanford University in California.
