Hear all the details on this ambitious project: Each 140g LP, which is produced as an EcoRecord and contains around nine recycled PET plastic bottles from post-consumer waste, and the CD version, which is released as an EcoCD and consists of 90% recycled polycarbonate, which also comes from post-consumer waste, are said to be “world firsts”. For the LP record version, the PET plastic bottles were collected from post-consumer waste - including from rivers in Guatemala by the globally active NGO organization The Ocean Cleanup - and then processed at Sonopress into EcoRecord and the finished product.
